Clients of the Barry G. Doyle Law Offices in Chicago attest how satisfied they were with our handling of difficult cases of nursing home abuse. Do not allow those who were responsible for the well-being of a loved one to escape justice. Our experience and skill at handling Illinois nursing home abuse cases makes all the difference.
I found Mr. Doyle through a different firm that recommend him. My experience working with him was positive and rewarding. It takes time for these cases and I think he did a great job considering what we were up against. It has been a great experience working with Mr. Doyle, and I always call him Mr. Doyle because he earned that respect. Every time I had a question he answered it. He explained to me the pros and cons of my case and what may or may not happen. I was grateful to have this information and for him keeping me up to date on my case. We didn’t put our mother into a nursing home for her to become decubitus but that’s what happened. Others need to see that these people did this and that they need to be held accountable— Mr. Doyle understands that.

When I was looking for a lawyer I wasn’t a happy camper but Barry was very comforting. When I had questions he would take the time to answer them and was very good at returning my calls. Barry was also the only lawyer who offered to see me in the nursing home. That meant a lot to me because I was very sick and unable to look for a lawyer and I did not want to hire a lawyer on the phone. I figured if a lawyer was serious he would come and see me. Barry knew his job very well and had a lot of details about nursing homes. That put me at ease. He was also very kind and gave me a ride to my settlement conference. I think people need to know that there is no harm in suing to recover what you lost when you’ve been hurt. A lot of people think they don’t have time to deal with a lawyer, but I didn’t have to do anything. I’ve heard “it upsets me to talk about it,” but really, it’s no different than talking to a friend except your friend can’t get you money! I would recommend Barry to others.

“Barry went over everything thoroughly and explained things to me in layman’s language as against attorney’s language. I was very happy and comfortable with the way Barry handled everything. Barry was very accommodating. As the case progressed, he always kept me informed on everything that was going on. It all gets started with a loss for someone, and everything worked out very well. I’d naturally recommend Barry to others.”

“When we first contacted him, we really weren’t sure on how to proceed with the case. I was on the internet, and Barry’s information popped up. I called, and Barry listened to what I had to say.
Our son was injured, he was our first priority, and Barry also made him his first priority, too. That was just awesome for us.
Barry is easy to deal with, easy-going, and down to earth, just like a next-door neighbor. He is very easy to talk to, not intimidating at all, and definitely does his research. Barry kept us informed all the time. He’d explain things to us in just plain talk, not attorney talk. We entirely understood what was going on with our case.
Barry gives lawyers a good name. We’ve dealt with lawyers who see you as a number and then with Barry who sees you as a person. He’s the kind of lawyer you want to deal with.”

“I very much felt that I could rely on Barry. He answered all my questions and explained the strengths & weaknesses of my case. I understood everything he explained to me. I knew what was going on each step of the way and knew what to expect. I was not in the dark. I would recommend Barry to anyone who needs a lawyer because he made me feel very comfortable. ”

After my accident, I had been in and out of the hospital. My bills were piling up. I looked for an attorney, and Barry was the first attorney to return my call. He came to my house as I was recovering and went through everything with me. While everyone else I was dealing with seemed to be shuffling paper, Barry actually sat down and was interested in my end of it. He cared about what was going on with me, my life, the troubles I was having. And his staff was pleasant, professional, and organized.
He kept me up to date with what was going on with the case, making the process quite a bit easier to deal with than what I expected. I told him what was going on and he took care of everything from the legal end of it. Barry laid it out, don’t expect this, don’t expect that, but we may be able to do this or that. And, he put it in layman’s terms for me that I could understand.
I was just hoping to avoid ending up under a ton of bills, but Barry managed to clear a lot of things up, take advantage of a lot of avenues for me that I just didn’t know were there. I was very happy with the result and very surprised with how well it turned out.

Barry explained the strengths and weaknesses of my case in a manner that was easy to understand. Barry is patient, empathetic, and considerate. Barry took the time to make me feel that my case and my feelings were important to him. He’s not your typical attorney. I was pleased with the result, and I’d absolutely recommend Barry.

Working with Barry was easy. I asked a question on the internet, and I got a response from him. It was so easy, it was unreal. Barry explained what was going on with my case. Several times he advised me on the pluses and the minuses of the case, what could and couldn’t happen. He knew what was going on, so I was really impressed. He made sure that we were on the same page. The case went quicker than I thought it would. It was like ‘wow, it’s over, it’s settled.’ And, I was very pleased with the result. I have already recommended Barry as an attorney and I would again.

Barry had quite an understanding of what was going on, what the next steps would be. He was very clear in explaining the strengths and weaknesses of my case and helped me to understand the legal aspects. I felt that my case was as important as the most important case around. When I wanted to talk to Barry, get some feedback from him or anything, he was available. I didn’t feel like just another number. Also, his staff was professional and pleasant. I felt that my case moved along as best it could, and I was pleased with the result.

Two or three other lawyers turned down my case but Barry knew it was a strong case and saw potential. Barry gave me a good idea of what to expect and did an excellent job of explaining things. He knew what he was talking about, and I was very comfortable with him handling my case. The case moved along according to how Barry said it would. In the end, I was pleased with the result and would recommend Barry to anyone else in need of an attorney.

Hi, my name is Norma Johnson and I am a former client and my husband is a current client of the Law Offices of Barry G. Doyle.
My father died as a result of medical malpractice and Mr. Doyle represented the interests of me, my siblings, and my mother regarding the settlement. What I liked most about Mr. Doyle and the way that he handled things is that he did a great job explaining how things would proceed and made sure that we were all ready to testify when the time came. When we finally had the hearing for our case, I felt like I was really ready for what would happen in that court room. I was really pleased with the result.
After the case for my father was over, we started to think about a case for my husband involving his hip replacement. Once we decided that was something that we were going to move ahead with, we knew that Mr. Doyle’s office would be the one that we would call. We just feel like he is the right choice for our family. We felt like he did right by us the first time with my dad’s case and had confidence that he would do right by us for my husband’s case too.
If you have been hurt in an accident, I can’t recommend Law Offices of Barry G. Doyle enough. Good people, good lawyers.

Honesty, Integrity, Transparency, Partnership. With Barry Doyle I got this and more. When one of the most tragic events happened in my life, Barry was there for me and my family when we needed someone the most. We knew that this was going to be a very long and rough road and we wanted a partner that could help us through it. Barry is a very resourceful and creative thinker, he explored all options to strengthen our case. As the case developed Barry made sure that we had the information we needed to understand what was going to happen and what the next steps were. He not only built a strong case but was easily accessible, by phone, email and often, in person. He is a professional with an understanding heart, and a great balance. You are in good hands with Barry.

My mother fell in her room at her nursing home and broke her femur and her ankle in the fall. Barry had been recommended to me by a nurse that I was working with, and I am glad that I called. It turned out that even though everyone knew that my mother was a fall risk, they never did a fall prevention plan like they were supposed to. That is something that I never would have found out on my own, and the nursing staff never would have told me.
I was extremely pleased with how Barry handled my Mother’s case against the nursing home. It is amazing how much investigation and work goes into a case like that. Barry worked with intensity, and always kept me up to date in every aspect of the case. I commend Barry’s passion and hard work that brought about a conclusion with a justified settlement.
I am very grateful to him for his excellent service and am happy to recommend him to others.

I am a former client of the Law Offices of Barry G. Doyle, and I am happy to recommend their services to anyone who has either been in an accident themselves or who has had a family member injured or killed in an accident.
My mother was in declining health and after a hospital admission, we as a family made a decision to admit her to a nursing home. At the time of her passing, she had developed some bed sores and we were concerned that some of the issues we had with the care that she had been getting in the nursing home caused them.
I contacted Mr. Doyle’s office and arranged for a meeting with him. Not only is he very easy to talk to, he understood right away what it was we were talking about and why we were upset with the nursing home. We decided to hire him and that is a decision I am very pleased with.
He got the medical records in and had them reviewed fairly quickly and explained to me what it was he saw and what the issues were in the case. With that in mind, we started to negotiate with the insurance company and reached a settlement agreement which was satisfactory to everyone. When it came time for me to make that decision to go ahead and accept the settlement offer, it was one that I was really comfortable making because he was so clear about explaining to me what the issues were in my mother’s case. I felt like I was a partner in making the decision – that it wasn’t something that was being made for me.
Going through this kind of situation is something that I wouldn’t wish on anyone, but you never know what life will bring you, and if you have to go through something like this, hiring Barry Doyle as your lawyer is a smart move – and one you can feel good about.
